Win at The Boleyn
is a must for us tomorrow. We gave away the match to our West London friends, can't be dropping further points in East London can we?
It'll be interesting to see whether BFG and Giroud start - I would pick both to give ourselves more "weight" in both attack and defence and perhaps this is Giroud's chance for a Premier League hat-trick, eh? Come on Arsenal!

I've got Arsenal in my accumulator. Backlash from the Chelsea game. If Tomkins plays then i expect Podolski to do some damage.

Re: Win at The Boleyn
A pretty lively match - TBH I thought we'd have had it easier, especially after the opening period when WHU hardly touched the ball.
Four well-worked and well-taken goals (although we did rather allow Diamé a free go) and well-pleased to see Giroud get off the Premier League mark, a well-taken goal and an assist plus some good old-fashioned centre-forward play - nice that BFG was chosen to start, nice too that Santi finally worked out where the goal was - what a shot that was! Theo came on and looked useful, a well-taken goal shows that perhaps he's finally able to be let loose in attack let's see how that one develops.
Well chuffed with the three points - now have to put up with a two-week break!

Absolutely!!!!
I have to say, these fecking two week international breaks are a fecking nuisance. They're ruining the flow of the season.

Need Southampton to win today for £72 for a £3 stake. Bound to fail.

Don't be negative. Keep the faith, you thought they could do it when you placed the bet, so why not now?
Good luck, QB.

It was a bet where you choose one game per section. Had Arsenal, Cardiff,Chelsea, Leicester and Southampton. Plain sailing so far and i went on Fulham's poor away form rather than Saints being grwat. 13/8 for a home aint bad at all. Have considered off setting by sticking a tenner a piece on a draw and a Fulham win but i'm sticking with what i've had. Anyway, only risked a pint.....

Re: Win at The Boleyn
i was a little fed up with the ref thought he could have handled a few situation a bit different, but over all , Arsenal deserved there win....wh's back for need to shape up Especailly collins....Jussi needs to be dropped he just aint cutting it...
But we played a very well organised side in arse....so all in all not to sad we lost...quite expected tbh

Re: Win at The Boleyn
I only watched the highlights on MOTD but although West Ham were outplayed they did have decent goalscoring opportunities where you'd expect Nolan in particular to notch. I thought Mertesacker looked 100% better than he did last season and made light work of Carroll so fair play to him. West Ham will struggle against the top sides due to not having a decent centre half but with what they have in midfield and attack I can't see them finishing any lower than 13th.

I hated watching the game at home on my own. I'll be at the Southampton game, can't do that again.

Re: Win at The Boleyn
The Arsenal are looking a much better side this season, when Mertesecker plays.
What a buy Cazorla is, how was there no bidding war for him, he's a little magician and I think Giroud will be real good for us too, he's a footballer, his pass to Walcott was excellent.
This is the best TEAM we've had for some time now, thanks to some very shrewd signings.

Fcuk
That's feckin unlucky, QB. Still that £3 lasted a lot longer than a pint and gave you a lot more excitement. Better luck next time. If you need any advice.......

Five weeks, brilliant!!! Well worth the effort, beware temptation though. The more you go back the harder it is to leave next time. Keep on keeping on.
