Beating ManC will give us a helluva lift, especially (as I hope) it'll be done through a great team performance (although I'd settle for a jammy last-minute penalty to take the 3 points) but it might put the lid on the season title-winning wise. Still, we're not here to worry about how ManU can't be caught, we're here to beat every team we meet between now and May, eh? Come on Arsenal!

The referee is getting loads of stick but have to say I thought it was the correct decision to award penalty and as he was right in front of the goal, the defender had to be sent off. Spoilt the game as a spectacle but Dean is just doing his job

I agree, Lutes. It was a definite penalty, don't see how anyone can think otherwise if they've seen the incident on film.

Definite pen, harsh to send him off but can see why he did.

I dont think he had any option but to send him off ROT. Same with the Kompany challenge, the ref had to send him off

Absolutely a penalty and by the laws a sending off. It's football not wrestling.
Kompany had two feet off the deck when he first started the challenge, that's sending off.
