Big earners

Who are we able to lose this summer in terms of the big earners? And more importantly who are we stuck with?

Dunne's contract runs out so he is going.

Think we would love to get rid of Bent and Ireland as well. Also we would hope to get rid of Hutton and Makoun, plus if we could get rid of Given that would be a bonus as Guzan is definitely number 1 now and no point having given on the bench.

So, worst case scenario we get rid of an estimated £50k a week from the wage bill,

Best case we get rid of estimated £250k a week.

Dunne - £50k
Bent - £50k
Given - £50k
Ireland - £50K
Makoun - £30k
Hutton - £20k

I think the ex man city boys are on more than that, and I thought bent was on about 80 k a week, could be wrong, just figures I have heard bandied about

If Villa stop up they need to give Weimann and Benteke plus Guzan a pay rise to stop the poachers

Even if they do stay up, I think it will be very difficult to keep Benteke at the club

Reckon we could sell Bent and Hutton but not the others. Still a lot of money to save each week though. Tekkers for another season then we'll lose him. Unless someone big in Europe comes in for him.

Apparently the Spanish club want Hutton. Bent has no future it seems but the wages of others is going to make it difficult to sell them

Is Hutton on 20K a week.. thought it would be near 40K a week..

Will be hard to shift Given and Ireland considering the wages they are on...

Also isn't Petrov's contract up too?

I thought Hutton would be nearer 40k to be honest as well Ades. Petrov's contract is up there has been talk of him going onto the back room team in some capacity.
