Never mind about that shite - the real news is that David Murphy has announced his retirement today, at only 30 years of age. Very sad. Thanks for the memories Murph and good luck for the future.

Look, players get injured and sometimes they can't come back from it and have to retire. Murph was injured whilst playing for Blues, yes, but calling for us to be thrown out of the league because of it is a bit strong in my opinion. You nutter.

David Murphy is probably the best left back ever to be signed from Hibernian by Blues. We signed him in 2008 and he has short hair.

Our profile doesn't need raising. Birmingham City are already in all of the papers and we're getting loads of TV exposure lately. It's about time too.
