FA Cup (aka Our Cup)
We have Sunderland at home in the 3rd round of "Our Cup" - no doubt the TV companies will have us playing when we should all be in church on a Sunday morning or instead of breakfast on Monday - we'll see. Still, a home draw is always good - bring 'em on!

So, 3 o'clock on a Saturday afternoon for a 3rd round FA Cup tie, eh? How strange (it fair takes me back.....).
Come on Arsenal, do the business!

Business done, not in a great way but sufficiently convincing to enjoy. Despite our missing players (injured, rested) we performed reasonably well - Kos got caught out to concede the first goal but excellent chances were taken, two assists from Bellerin and youngsters Iwobi and The Jeff played with a maturity far beyond their years. The future looks good, the immediate future is back to the Premier League but we've an FA Cup fourth-round draw on Monday to savor - who's gonna be lucky?

So, another 3pm kick-off - whatever next? Burnley at home in "Our Cup" - it'll be a tough one cos Burnley are a goalscoring unit but, even though we'll have a mixed bunch out I'm thinking we've enough to get through at the first attempt. Come on Arsenal!

Nice cup win, generally a good all-round performance - great to have Alexis back (nicely worked and taken winner), great strike from Chambers for the first (he'd had a rocket shot earlier that was blocked), Iwobi looks the business as does new-man Mo Elneny - oh yes, great to have The Coq back too. Yes, it's all good - let's see who fate brings us up against in the next round!

Hull City it is - well, I'm thinking we'll be looking at a revamped eleven to start but we've gotta have enough to beat Hull, surely?
Ospina, Gibbs, Chambers, Flamini, The Ox, Campbell should start, along with a coupla youngsters plus Theo and Welbeck, that should do the trick. Come on Arsenal!

So what, we got another game to play - we'll win at Hull and still be there for whoever thinks they're getting lucky! Not sure when we'll play the game mind since we've got midweek fixtures lined up until FA Cup QF day, so perhaps that's when we'll play. Anyway, we couldn't score - that's cos we're saving our goals for tuesday when Barca come visiting - ha, ha

4-0 but what a price to pay, three new injuries! BFG off with a cut head, Gabriel with a muscular injury and Welsh Jesus with a back problem. Arsene's gonna need his Magic Hat to get teams out for Sunday's match against Watford and next week's CL in Barcelona. Juniors in for the Barca game?
Still, we're through - now need that little extra to see us into the semis - come on Arsenal!

Probably true Frenchie - supporting The Arsenal can and does leave you feeling rung out from time-to-time. This season we should be winning summat and if it's the FA Cup again all well and good but TBH I thought we were in with a shout at being Premier League champions and look what happened! Yup, rung out is about it - still, let's get to Wemberley again and see how it feels again! Come on Arsenal!

Shit - it's not Our Cup any more! Shit, that's what we are (I'm sorry to say), that's what we've become since 1st January 2016. How did it happen? Nobody knows, not even Arsene. What happens next? Who knows? All I know is we're shit!
