As was I, but Cole and Diamanti have both played well today. Diamanti looks like the kind of player who can score a goal out of nothing, and his dead ball delivery is world class.

Upson, Behrami, Collison. Not all defenders, but they make a difference.
And I reckon Noble could do with being rested a bit. By the time he'd finished with the U21s in the summer, pre season friendlies had started.
