I've heard I'm A Believer twice today. Hard to believe it's 40 years old.

Written by Neil Diamond - who was probably the most tone deaf person to ever record. The only person who I think came close was that bint in a band called M people (I think) who had a song called Break Out which was at least a monotone out at best
However the song "Stones" by Neil Diamond beat it by a mile - September Morn also has some classic out of key moments

Heather Small. I liked M People, though.
Talking of golden oldies, have you seen the Glastonbury lineup this year? Springsteen, Quo, Neil Young, Bjorn Again (!), Annie Nightingale, Ray Davies, Fairport Convention, The Blockheads , Quiver, Mike Harper, Crosby Stills & Nash, Spinal Tap,..... Rolf Harris!!!!!!!!!!!!!, Madness, Tom Jones, Tony Christie (wonder what he'll sing?), Echo & the Bunnymen, Linda Lewis, Georgie Fame,.....
And some new bands too!

Have you ever been to Glastonbury?? - I haven´t and I don´t think I could handle the mud and cold
One of the great things about Lisbon is that every year we get some really top acts perform here because the summer festivals are guaranteed long hot nights and the venue they created at Bela Vista near the airport holds 100.000

No, I haven't been, It's actually quite expensive, and although I could handle the weather I doubt that I'd enjoy living in a tent. I don't want luxury (just as well!) but a comfyish bed and a shower are sort of necessary requirements for me. Even if you take a camper van there's no electricity and no generators are allowed.

No - got to know him years after Matchbox were big
I think I told you before that I knew Kevin Rowland and Micky Billingham from Dexy´s from schooldays - so when I moved to London - I would often meet up with them when they were in town - and through them met other Muso´s

Must have been great fun, Lion.
I used to work part time in a pub that had quite a big biker clientele - they loved all the rockabilly stuff. And the landlord was a C&W devotee.
