Winter Olympics - Anyone watching?

Wednesday night Anja Paerson approaching the end of the ladies downhill travelling at over 120kmh (72mph) when she gets catapulted 60 metres and comes down the mountain like a rag doll. A most horrific crash!!!
Next day, there she is winning an Olympic Bronze in the ladies combined.
Now that's someone to be respected, not prats the likes of Jordan!!!

Just watched William's run in the skeleton. Going over 90 mph head first.. Lunatics!!!

There's been some fantastic entertainment at these games.

After watching the woman's skeleton, Amy Williams isn't the only one with a ridged slippery helmet.

I watched that sliding thing where she got gold now one question as she approached the end did she open her legs like aero wings to slow down as opposed to kinda like spoilers on a car which I was thinking was supposed to make it faster?

Spoilers aren't there to make cars faster.They press the back end of the car down as the speed increases for added grip.On the supercars they also have spoilers which go up under heavy braking for teh same reason.And there's your science lesson of the day

I was told these corses are very fast by someone that loves all this kind of stuff in the snow and mountains and stuff like that.

i think this is meant to be the fastest course in the world, they was doing 147kmh when they crashed. few teams have crashed now all on the same corner, and that was the 2 man bobsliegh, they reckon it might get interesting when the 4 man bobsliegh goes round it.
