As for the game.. we won 3-1... Jay how did we play... I know it was 4-5-1.. Young playing off Gabby.. Oneil hopefully will use this sytem this season..

He has options though Ade as Gabby can play on the right with Carew up front. Like this system for us to be honest. Apparently Albrighton scored a top goal, but Lion will still fceking moan that there was a long pass 2 minutes before the goal

I thought we looked slow and very average until midway 2nd half. Lots of sideways passing nothing to direct and searching. Last 30 thought we stepped it up and took control. Stan looked very commanding in the middle, Albrighton very much involved and looked decent throughout. And even Heskey scored, good runout and lots of players given a go.


Whats the score with Milner, didnt see him at all??

They said he was there but didnt play.. My 'source ' is away today so i cant exclusivley reveal yet if he is staying or going

I didnt notice him even on the bench, so thought maybe some developements today????

Saw comment from MON that he is leaving it to lerner and Faulkner, but there may be developments. One link I just read says he is unhappy, so let him go, but only for the right price. Albrighton has to be a contender for a starter now given the fact he has been a regular pre season

As for Albrighton.. he looks a good prospect.. should def be used this season.. didnt like the fact Oneil said we have no imminent signings happening

Also Curtis Davies has done an interview in the Sunday Mercury.. comes acorss as a really sensible lad.. wants to fight to get his place back.. i think he has a lot of potential.. i hope noone comes in for him..

I would like Davies to stay, think he is a good player. There seems to be an issue if he plays 2 more games he is due a bigger contract or something, from what I recall last season.

Albrighton I think could become a good player, seems to have a lot of potentital, lets hope he continues to improve.

Even if Milner goes and we bring in 2-3 good players, I think we can really compete this season

Lutes bring int he right players and we can compete.. the transfer market has been really slow.. but i can see a hectic August.. 'Arry cant resist not buying a few players.. If Liverpool sell Mascherano thye will be buying a few players.. Liekwise us if Milner goes..

I would love to get in Flamini..Hleb and another midfielder or striker..

Only saw a bit of the Arsenal game today, why was Flamini getting booed.

Chamarkh looks a decent forward from his goal, good movement.


Not sure about Hleb, bit of a prima donna imho, not sure he is the team player we need
