A lot of huffing & puffing by both teams with no sign of a goal yet after 30 minutes played.

Mike Dean is always the twelfth man for the opposition when he officiates at the Boleyn.

Whats happened to Avram Grant?
He is showing an unusual bout of passion for a change.

Well, 2-2 is the result.
No use to us at all, thats as good as a defeat when we are playing at home and we are still bottom.
Blackpool to face next on Saturday and they only played their second team against Villa tonight obviously seeing our game as an easier chance to win.
So its not gonna be easy.

First Wolves, now this. 4 points lost because of ridiculous officiating. If we play like that against Blackpool, we'll beat them. Unless Clattenburg is ref.

It won't be, they rested there better players obviously thinking the likelier team to take the 3pts of are Hammers, real scrappers.
You should have had enough to beat WBA Ringo, have to say.

I am not over optimistic about Saturday but that really is a 'Must Win' game.
Blackpool could actually place us in real trouble, the rest of the teams near us are sure to pick up points, we have had 4 points out of the last possible 18........ That tells its own story.

Re: West Ham v West Brom
I didn't think we played at all well last night. There's an odd inconsistency sometimes - we played far better v Arsenal & Birmingham.
The real nightmare was getting home, though. A stadium announcement just before the end of the game said that Upton Park station was closed for safety reasons, so we walked to East Ham station after the game. It turned out that there was no westbound service on the District or H&C lines because "Someone had been taken ill on a train at Bromley by Bow." So we got a C2C train to Fenchurch Street, Mr B went off to London Bridge station to get his train to Sevenoaks and I got on a Circle Line train that lumbered with many long pauses to Kings X station. Arrived at 11:40, only to find that I had almost an hour to wait for a train with a replacement bus services between Alexandra Palace & Knebworth (despite the fact that neither of these stations was a scheduled stop.) So I got on a Cambridge train just after midnight, got off at Hitchin and got a cab to Biggleswade which cost me £40. Got to bed at 1:30, skint and pissed off. Just as well I've got a day off today, eh?

I gotta admit I thought of you two last night when I learned Upton Park was closed while listening to BBC London Radio.
I think a bus trip to Mile End then catching the central line to Liverpool Street may have been a faster option but the delays between the few stations to Kings Cross surprises me.

The trains were all in the wrong places because of the line closure, which I've heard today was due to a train driver having a heart attack while driving a train. Thank god for the dead man's handle, eh?

For that, it is obviously acceptable to be late.......... there but for the grace of god, it could have been your train.
