I was only half-joking there Beds. I just remember that when I was a lad and football was new and exciting and the thing I looked forward to most in the week I would often feel sad at the end of a match, even if we'd won, because I knew I'd have to leave my beloved Highbury.
I know what you're going through, facing a change of home ground. Much as I appreciate The Grove is a truly fantastic stadium I still miss Highbury - actually, TBH I still miss standing on the North Bank. I'm sure if things hadn't changed I'd still be happy to stand on the terrace even at my somewhat advanced age. I suppose it's "change" that we don't like, we want stuff to be the same forever - sad innit?
