We've got to be due a win, surely? Might see Parker rested for this one. If he picks up a booking he's suspended for the Wolves game which is absolutely 1,000,000% must win.

I'd play him today. I'm hoping for a win, and rightly or wrongly I'd say Everton have a stronger team than Wolves. If we have to lose him for a game, let it be v Wolves or Newcastle. But Not Arsenal.

We've got 5 home games in 19 days, and only 1 away game in that time.

January is going to be a massive month. Wolves, Newcastle, Everton, and Arsenal in the league. If we don't beat Wolves, then we could start to become stranded because the next 3 games are very difficult. Still, we might be in a cup final at the end of it!
Just looking down our fixture list, have you seen April? affraid affraid affraid affraid

I'm not full of optimism, but I'm not resigned to defeat. We've been in worse holes. There's a good team waiting to come out, people have really understated beating Fulham. They're a well drilled outfit who have only lost twice at Craven Cottage. Great to see Sears playing with a bit of confidence too.

Shite game, decent performance, good point. Everton looked the better team in the 2nd half, but we held out well and Cole really should have won it..

No blame avram for putting a non tryer today on the place of piq...wh today in the second half played with ten men when cole came on. and any striker worth their salt would have scored with that...when wh really need a goal he just does not find what precious form he has ..
As for the game being shit diss agree wh should have had the game wrapped up by the first half..

You keep saying and stating eze that certain games are a must win yet wh always fail to produce. every game should be a win game .

Av should have taken of piq put on zavron....And as for taking of obinna and leaving cole on was just bad management...take cole back of and gibve him the kick up the arse he really needs...Oh and who the phook wud wanna spend 9 mill on a striker like cole....must be barking fooking mad

Oh and by the way i thought that even kovac u tnuc had a good game and i think he's worthless than pig shit

Draw was a fair result today, shite game that neither team deserved to win.

Pretty much, yes. But considering Everton have beaten us in the corresponding fixture for the last 2 seasons at least, and the Carling Cup Quarter Final the season before that, it would seem that either we've improved or Everton have got more shit.

Poorest I've seen Everton in a long while. Cahill and Arteta were anonymous.

Have to be honest and say it's the latter.. We were woeful today! Haven't got a striker that can score, looked dodgey without Jags at the back. Just all off the pace at the minute.

By the way, Eze.. Are you still of that rather odd opinion that Upson is better than Jagielka?

Everton bought the maximum number of fans today, loads of coaches - think there was a problem with tickets, a massive queue outside the ticket office in Priory Road. Both sets of fans were a bit subdued though.

To be fair there wasn't much for either set of fans to get excited about was there?

No, and much of the season has been like that. The worst is the games when cheap tickets are available and the day trippers turn up thinking they're Frodo Baggins running up Green Street, yelling abuse and booing the players on, off and all round the pitch. Our players, by the way. Rolling Eyes I've seen a couple of scuffles over it, and have heard of a few more. Mainly men who are old enough to know better, reliving what they would like to think is their youth. It's one of the reasons we're not going to the Barnsley game.
