These days players get a call up just so they can't play for another Country.. how times have changed..

Haven't Zaha and jenkinson just been called up to stop them playing for Ivory Coast and Finland respectively? Jenkinson has represented every Finnish youth team.

Until they play in a competitive international at senior level they remain eligible for their home nation.

Seems Sterling, Osman, and Caulker are starting tonight.

Didn't exactly piss all over us. When we made all of the substitutions we looked vulnerable, up until then we were the stronger side. Up stepped Ibrahimovic.What a player and that goal was worthy of winning any game, world class.

I didn't watch all of the game but from what I saw I thought Osman looked more like a player winning his 50th rather than his first cap.

I turned over to watch Michael Palin in Brazil. Apparently, Leon Osman had trouble convincing his little boy he'd really been called up. Sweet.

Until the substitutions were made, England had been the better team. Gerrard and Osman looked very good in midfield. Hart is getting some stick this morning and rightly so after his performance, but is still a class keeper
