Why is Lampard hated by West Ham fans? When he left was it on bad terms or just down to West Ham fans been fond of ex players?

He said some stuff after he left. Personally, I think it's all stupid but JT and him both played to it a bit yesterday.

JT was slated by the commentator,,,not only was he warming up and showing his arse to the wh fans

But also he was actually doing it on the pitch.

As for lampard he slated the club and the fans after he left, But me personally i could'nt careless happened so long ago now...Same as Paul ince...some wh fans just dont know when to let go

The fans never liked Lampard as they thought he was in the team due to nepotism. I've heard fans saying that Danny Williamson was a better player. Remember him? I was also at Villa Park when Lampard broke his leg. As he left the pitch on the stretcher he got applause from the Villa fans and dogs abuse from the West Ham fans. I'm surprised he doesn't hate West Ham after that. Nothing at all like Ince really. The stick he gets is understandable.

Probably about right, QB. A lot of the fans thought he was a fat posh boy.

Harry was questioned as to why Frank jnr was in the side and these two other players was'nt and why wh had sold Danny williamson and this one fan kept saying he thought that Danny was a class above Lampard Jnr..and with harry Lampard jnr and a few others on the question poll....Harry said that Lampard Jnr would go on to much better things and the other two players would only be lower league players at best...And harry said right in front of lampard he is a young and improving player that will be a world class player...and tbh he's right...

You keep saying dogs abuse from wh fans , but it's a minority of of fans....i dont like him myself.....but he's a good player

I was at VP that day as well QB and have to say the reaction of the West Ham fans was awful to be honest.

I've never seen anything like it before or since. Even opposition fans give a sporting round of applause when a player is stretchered off. Lampard has had the last laugh though. One of the very best Prem players.
