Shame - we won't have Alan Hansen as a pundit after the World Cup - how are we gonna get by, eh?
However, it might prove to be a "Better the devil you know...." situation, we could get a permanent Savage! Still, I'll be glad to see the back of Hansen, he's never forgotten being in THAT game at Anfield in '89 and never forgiven The Arsenal, the negative bar-steward!

As pundits go, I don't mind Hansen. The new breed of Shearer, Savage and Owen are very poor in comparison. My favourite is Souness on Sky. Doesn't dodge the difficult questions and speaks a lot of sense. Was very complimentary to Arsenal as a club last Sunday as well JPR.
