Obviously a twat of the highest order but anyone think the story has got blown out of proportion?

Savage (another bell if ever there was one) was making out it was the worst thing he's ever witnessed and in the next sentence suggested it was fine if a player did the same thing.   

The FA should slap him with a massive ban but he was provoked and he barely nudged him. The MOTD boys need to get a grip.

Like most things, the media wants it's pound of flesh, it's been blown out of proportion.
However, in this case, it's Pardew, he's got history and as you say, he is a 24 carat prat, so I hope he gets it, big time.

Yes, they should throw the book at him for that pathetic head-butt. He got no power behind it, his technique was poor, and he failed to follow it up with a left hook or any jabs to the body. I hope he gets banned for life.

Pardew is pathetic. A manager who can't control himself is obviously not a manager. WTF, I'd get rid of him if I was owner of the club but, then again, I wouldn't have given him an 8-year contract, although such behaviour could get them out of it if they so wanted. Nah, he'll stay and carry on being a prat!

I'd stick him in a fish tank in the foyer of the Stadium Of Light, and feed him worms every three days. It's the only way he'll learn.
