What a sour faced bar steward he is. I bet the last time he smiled it turned out to be wind.
He takes hundreds of millions of pounds of 'talent' to a 4th division side and they are made to look extremely ordinary.
He blames the ref, the pitch and anything else he can lay his mouth on.
I watched the game and Man Utd were out-tacticed. He should look at his 'stars' who could not do the fundamentals, not slag off all and sundry.
Someone should tell him about the magic of the FA Cup, where the less talented are more motivated than the millionaire prima donnas, who think it's below them to play on a small ground on a pitch that was no sand covered bog.

Couldn't agree more jak - some of these people have forgotten the realities of football generally whilst being cosseted at the champagne and prawn-cocktail level. It's not only him of course but he's the latest example of living the dream without having to work too hard. Well, perhaps he (and some of his stars) will come to realise what the real world's about before they get embarrassed on their own turf.

I quite like Van Gaal. There's something of a demented lunatic about him. I reckon he's going to properly crack one day and there's going to be carnage.
