I remember Spurs scoring Nine back in the late 70s against Bristol Rovers

I remember it mainly because I had been to watch Villa play at Upton Park on the same day and we ended up being kicked onto the pitch holding the game up for some minutes before we were let out of the ground early before we placed too heavy a burden on the NHS

Yeah Great!

Having been kicked and punched to pieces we then had to be lead around the pitch and then all the herberts on the so called chicken run side pelted us with coins

Happy Days

Some things don't change - West Ham were supported by a load of Merchant Bankers then.

Someone said to me today (and I quote) :
"Spurs can't be completely sh!te if they've scored 9 goals today".
There, it's official, Spurs aren't completely sh!te!

Luton

Thats the game

Spuds were in Div 2

I remember being in Euston station and hearing the scoreline so that result and the severe kicking we got sticks in my mind

We were out of the ground with about an hour played
