Just when I was thinking that we had a chance to win the league, having previously written us off after losing twice to ManU and Chelsea, we struggle to a 1-0 lead over Birmingham then concede a joke equaliser whilst the competition are knocking in 7 goals! OK, we're still fighting for third place - I trust we'll manage that!

An odd match in many ways, a draw was a fair result.

Wonder if Wenger saw two bad Arsenal challenges and a Bentner dive Rolling Eyes

In all the years I've followed football I have never been cock-a-hoop about my team drawing at home.
Relieved, yes but cock-a-hoop, never.
It seems that some of us have higher expectations than others. Huh

Jak, he is happier in the fact that his local rivals lost today than the fact his side nicked a point

Another game that we should win but, following the additional injuries and a Big Match coming up on Tuesday I expect we'll have a bit of a patchwork team out against Wolves. However, we're still in with a chance so Arsene will have got the lads ready for battle. I expect to see Silvestre, Eboue and Traore in defence, the midfield almost picks itself in the certain absence of Captain Cesc and probable absence of Denilson and Diaby, Bendtner might be given a breather, AA is out so we could well see Eduardo start and perhaps Vela in attack. Whoever gets the nod I trust they'll take their responsibility and get us the three points.

Well, at this rate, jpr, it could be down to you and I to dig our boots out for the last couple of games of the season.
We may have lost a bit of speed but our guile will get us through. At least we've kept ourselves in good shape over the years unlike the pie eating, beer swilling, dwarf shagging, pink dipping, doggers of Villa fans on here. Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

Just got the three points with a late, late goal - should've been secured a whole lot earlier but hey, 'tis the Arsenal way!
Still in with a chance!

The player came sailing in, through Rosicky with both legs. He caught Rosicky, who needed treatment. I suppose given todays rules that's a red card although I always find it difficult at the moment - so do referees apparently. The Arsenal players were incensed by the 'tackle', the ref's assistant joined in, the ref waved his red card. I suppose the tackle itself was potentially dangerous so I suppose the red card was right.

Phil Thompson said he didn't think it was a pen, but I have to say when I saw it on MotD I thought it was.

Probably got that one right since it happened on the halfway line - but I think I know what he(you) meant?! Cool

And I think we will - RvP in the squad is a huge boost. We're gonna score a few!
