Germany have now reached 11 of the last 15 semi finals in World Cups.. that is an amzing acheivement..

A lot of people tipped Argentina to win it but they have been destroyed today..

Klose could even equal or beat Ronaldo's all time World Cup scoring record..

The most startling facts are that Mueller was loaned out to a thrid div team in the last 18 months.. Klose and Podolski both scored less goals then Heskey in the league last season and yet they are smashing it for there country!!

The system shows yet again what a wanker Capello was. The two lads patrolling the midfield are full of energy, then you have Muller, Ozil and Podolski with Klose up front, who reminds me of Gerd Muller. Looks a shite player, but seems to have the knack of being in the right place at the right time, just like Heskey

But when you have a written law that Gerrard and Lampard have to play every game together then we are fecked.. we just domnt have the imigination the way the Germans do..

I was looking forward to a Brazil v Spain/Argentina final.. thats fecked that then..

The Germans have a few very good players, but, more than that they play together, as a team.
The English have a couple of good players (on their day) but do not play together, do not play as a team.
That was the main point I had in my pre-match assessment of the England v Germany game, we just aren't at ease knocking the ball about to each other (or maybe the tabloids/rumours are right and the players simply dislike each other), we rarely play as a team. Until that is sorted we'll continue to be a second or third-rate national outfit.
I thought Agentina would beat the Germans today simply because they have more individually talented players but the German's scored a poor first goal (from the Argies defending point of view) and never looked back. Their team-work was outstanding today, every bit as good as when they played the Aussies ("yeh but it was against a poor team" was most people's take on that performance) and I hate to say it but I quite like the team as a whole.

What is the problem lads, the guy scores goals. I would love someone like him at Villa sticking the ball in the net from 3 yards out. Looks crap, but a natural scorer. Jak, JPR and Finn, even the senile Lion will remember Gerd Muller and he was exactly the same. Is he not a fecking pole though and I dont mean in the Ades sense

As for the record.. Ronaldo was a legend.. rather he kept that record..

If he breaks the record, he deserves respect Ades. He is playing for a manager who trusts him and the team play makes it good for him as well.

I rate him for it as i said.. but prefer Ronaldo to keep it cus he is by a mile the best striker i have seen play in my life time..

His club form has always been poor.. even thou his Country form would make you think lets def go for him..

Luton Can't believe he did that, said on here before the weekend the Germans have enormous strength, probably the best German side in decades and IMO will dominate the next couple of competitions including 2014. I mentioned i thought the only side capable of stopping the Argies would be Germany, and they certainly did that.
