I think she's definitely been out of her depth. All this "Hairy Angel" business must have been quite hurtful to read about.

the full shilling.
She hasn't just got her voice, that is so good, that from the first note out of her mouth, you sit up and listen.
I ask myself why hasn't she made progress previously. Now the answer is obvious. I don't think she has been broken, not at all. She has gone where she was incapable of going because of her mental condition.

She's certainly no oil painting, and that for me is the nasty part. Everyone is surprised that she looks the way she does but has a beautiful voice. I find that very patronising.
She's clearly led a very sheltered and simple life, and can't have thought for a moment that auditioning for the show would have had this outcome. The programme makers need to really look after her now, or their reputation will suffer, and to be honest I think Simon Cowell has to rethink his plans to give her a contract because she clearly can't cope.
Hopefully she'll recover, and can go back to her life as it was. More or less, anyway.

One thing we don't really know is how her life was. I suspect it hasn't been 'normal'.
You can't change things Beds, if a person is stunningly beautiful , we will notice and comment on it, we do the same if they are stunningly ugly. Susan, unfotunately looks like she's nutted a bus. That's just a fact and a good voice ain't gonna change it. Surely not to mention it because she's got a nice voice would be to patronise the lady.

Actually iv'e seen a early clip of her on you tube singing in the early 80's and she was then very shaggable well for lutes that is, but i would have put a brown paper bag over her head and give her a ¨jolly good 30 seconds worth
