Rumour has it.......
we've got some new faces arriving this week. Let's wait and see.
Meanwhile, having followed the pre-season matches thus far, I've been impressed by Ramsey (he really looks to be back 100% - I'd been fearing he might have lost something from that horrific injury but he seems to have it all), by Gervinho, by Gibbs, by Wilshere and RvP (of course) and yes, in yesterdays match against the Thierry Henry XI, by Rosicky. Rosicky put in a decent shift, was all over the park and filled the playmaker role more than adequately after Young Jack went off. They've all been training matches, the real stuff starts in a couple of weeks and I hope rumours are true!

You need a couple of signings though surely? A centre back and a left back as well, as it's unlikely Gibbs will stay fit for a season. Or do you have someone else to play there?
If you can get Jakielka in to play with a fit Vermaelen, that will be a pretty impressive centre back pairing.

We had this conversation last year where everyone said that Arsenal needed a couple of centre halves and a goalkeeper.IMO had they splashed out back then they'd be the current champions

It's been the same story for the last few years.

A friendly stroll? Right up Rosicky's street.
Scoring a goal when you're 3 or 4 up? Rosicky's there.
1-0 up against Bolton when you need everybody working their bollocks off. Where's Rosicky? Still strolling around.
Watch him closely when the chips are down, jpr. He really is a liability.
He gives the ball away in vital areas, NEVER chases back. We keep blaming the defence, justifiably so but they are not helped by the likes of Rosicky, Arshavin, Nasri and thank feck the biggest culprit, the sideways passing Denilson is out of the picture. All of whom neglect their defensive duties. We need some beef in our midfield, too much chicken for my liking.
Rely on the likes of Rosicky and we'll go nowhere.

I've always rated Denilson and Rosicky on a par. Feckin useless!!
Football can be very unjust.
Some players slip under the radar. How could Denilson play over 100 games for The Arsenal before his card was marked?
While Song was pilloried before he'd barely been given a chance.
Rosicky is still below the radar, he's played over 130 games, he's 31yo, he's made sod all impact and adds nothing to the team.
He is an absolute master of the hospital ball, just watch him, you'll see.
Would he play for Chelsea? No way!!!
Man U? No way!!
The same for Man C and Liverpool.
You just cannot win trophies with players who are so weak and uncompetitive.

I've heard three are supposed to be signing this coming week, no idea who/from where although I saw somewhere that two are current Premier League players (I'm hoping Joey Barton is not one of them). One should suppose that one will be a central defender, one could guess that one would be coming in to replace Fabregas and/or Nasri and the other one is Joey Barton Aaaaaaarrrrrrgh-ha-ha-ha-ha (maniacal laughter.....)

actually if he stays and ye don't get promoted that would mean financial meltdown for ye so it would be in your best interests to get rid of him. fulham will have no problem taking him off your hands for free.

I think he'd do the business for The Arsenal but I don't expect us to sign him.

Re: Rumour has it.......
Parker is a no brainer.. Arsenal should get him in..
They need a De Jong or Ya Ya Toure type of player.
One of Cahill..Samba..Jagielka too.
Maybe Enrique at left back..
Juan Mata has been talked about. Now there's a player that would fit right into your team alongside a Parker n a CB..

It's by no means certain that Parker will leave West Ham.

Don't care. And I don't think he does, either.
