Farewell

Just a word of thanks to Cesc Fabregas - he's been a great player for us and I think he's enjoyed playing for The Arsenal. Arsene Wenger certainly helped Cesc develop to be the player he is today. My one regret is that we didn't win more with him - we had one of the best midfielders in Europe in our team, he had the best assist stats and highest goalscoring rate of any midfielder the season before last but we still failed to win anything. I suppose we can liken losing Cesc to losing Liam Bady all those years ago - we eventually recovered!
I'll miss seeing Cesc's genius in action for us but what's done is done - farewell Captain Cesc and thanks for the memories.

Yes - was replaced by RvP towards the end of the second half.
