Farewell and thanks
Fabianski and Sagna are off, contracts played out and both have found new clubs apparently (Swansea and, probably Citeh, respectively).
I would have preferred that they'd both stayed. For all his faults Fabianski has proved to be a very good no.2 goalkeeper and has also shown Szczesny a thing or two in how to behave as a pro. He certainly didn't let us down in the FA Cup this season and rightly celebrated his excellent penalty saves in the sf against Wigan - a good keeper technically who, occasionally had his moments which scared the hell out of us! So, good luck Lukasz and many thanks!
Bacary Sagna has been a gem. He went through serious injury, recovered and never let us down. He is a strong and gifted defender and has that spirit that's needed when the going gets tough (remember last season when we were 2-0 down against the Spuds - his determination and goal provided the fillip to get us back on track). It's a shame that we couldn't do whatever it was that was necessary to get him to re-sign but, in the end it's about money and who can blame him if he wants to claim a final big-money contract elsewhere (although I'd rather it was abroad TBH).
So, farewell but watch out. We'll be gunning for you next season!

Re: Farewell and thanks
Yes, two decent players going.
What could the club do? Fabianski wants to play as a No1
The Arsenal couldn't give him that.
Sagna (the word is) was offered a 3yr deal at 80k, wanted 100k and Man C will pay him 140k.
The Arsenal couldn't AND shouldn't have given that.
So there it is, the end of the line.
Thanks for everything - Adios!!!!!
