Blues v Portsmouth

Another 3 points in the bag last night for Blues and my bag was fecking freezing, I know that much.

A late, great goal from Nathan Redmond sealed it and it was what we deserved overall. Not a great game but a win's a win. That takes us up to third and West Ham and Southampton above us must be starting to shit themselves now. The Blue Machine rolls on - 12 games undefeated and counting.

My only concern is that we haven't played particularly well in our last couple of games. The opposition hasn't ever looked liked scoring but we haven't been creating as much as we usually do. Marlon King had another off game, as did Chris Burke. Adam Rooney did too but that's normal for him.

King is carrying an injury apparently so I'll let him off. Zigic was still injured after his heroics against Leeds but hopefully we'll have the big man back against Barnsley to give King a rest. We need Marlon to be back to his best as soon as possible.

It's possible but I can't see Blackpool or West Ham lasting the distance.
