Racism and forms of predujice will ALWAYS exist. As humans it's in built. The levels of racism obviously differ but any society which promotes exclusivity based on skin colour is right up there with the KKK. It appears that racism is only a one way street and things like that make a mild mannered man like myself angry and racist when i therefore say,
"Well why not have the society of white lawyers"

I can't find any info at all on the society. It's definitely a bad choice of name if they are a new organisation which leads me to think that it was set up a long time ago. I would've though a rebrand would be sensible in todays climate but the message here is what is important not who is delivering it.

No, they are being malicious. They have admitted they didn't see or hear the incident in question, but say it's enough that they know it occurred. They don't know any such thing, and if I were Clattenburg I would sue them if I were found to be innocent. I'd make a point of hiring a black lesbian disabled lawyer, too.

Really? A group of highly educated people trying to create a racial division or trying to get the FA/clubs to act after a couple of fairly grim incidents in the last year or so? Read through the points they've made, most make good sense and should be looked at. A four game ban for on-field racism is just a joke IMO and makes it look as though clubs/f.a see racism in the same light as a late tackle.

However I'm not sure why a group of people specialising in "Black Law" would want to get involved to protest against a group of fans from Tottingham Hotspur (presumably of Jewish extraction?) expressing themselves as "Yids" or, indeed "Yiddos". I suggest said group of fans (let's call them Yiddos) make protest to the FA, Premier League or Human Rights against a group of people caling themselves "Black Lawyers" - that sounds a touch rascist, at least on the surface, doesn't it?

Come off it. You're a well educated lad, can't you see what is happening here? They are lawyers, the same type who chase ambulances. It's a cash cow, not an issue of fairness for them. The treatment of Clattenburg is nothing short of disgraceful. From here on he'll be called a racist, whether he's one or not. That's his life ruined. These people don't care about that, it's just another whitey who needs bringing down a peg or two. I'm totally fcuked off with these minority societies who form to fight against so called prejudice. I couldn't give a flying shit if someone is a raving homosexual from Africa. In the absence of any other authority be it the FA or clubs, doing anything constructive this group will have a voice. I don't think the name of the group is going to help the situation much but as I said earlier that's irrelevant. The suggestions they have made are the point here and it's up to kick it out and the FA to get a grip.

It's someone's word against another. That's it. No evidence. The fact it's even been made public is an outrage. Shit sticks and you can bet your bollocks that there'll be folks saying "there's no smoke without fire". The society of black lawyers don't deserve to have a voice they deserve prosecuting for encouraging division between colour.

Well if someone makes an accusation then it must be taken seriously. Without evidence it won't go much further though. As for keeping it out of the public eye I think that would be almost impossible.

Sum up of the Clatenburg claim from the press report.

Straight after the game, Chelsea claim that up to 5 players heard the ref call Mata a Spanish twat and Mikel a monkey.

The next day, Chelsea continue with their complaint, however it is now just Ramirez (or it might be Luiz) who can not speak English who claims that he heard the ref call Mikel a monkey. No other player heard this and from the reaction of the players on the pitch, it certainly seems nothing was heard, and the official Chelsea complaint is to do with inappropriate language, so it's not even certain that the complaint is to do with raciest language.

Lets not forget that Chelsea have previous for making complaints about referees that have proved to be complete lies.

So according to these lawyers (chancers), any complaint from a single person in the work place to do with inappropriate language should result in suspension?

Presumably the Society of Black Lawyers was set up to ensure black defendants had a black lawyer representing them. Gotta wonder what would happen if a white defended refused to be represented by anyone but a white lawyer.....

Re the Clattenberg thing - the assistants would've heard anything Clattenberg said on the pitch and if there was a case to answer I'm sure would have come forward to the FA and told them if he said anything racially motivated. Also I find it hard to believe an official with any deep seated prejudices would've been in the game so long without them being exposed.
