Lad has kindly bought us tickets for the game tomorrow, has even offered to drive. Looking forward to going to Villa Park again, has been a while. Wont hold my breath thinking we will win mind, but at least it will give us a chance to see if we can improve

Cracking little goal. Well done the Villa.

Impressive first half. The formation is bang on and must say Ireland has impressed me a lot this first half. Chasing back good passing.

Falling apart again, Villa really do lack the experience and know how to shut down a game.

That will come. Lots of positives today. Once the young and foreign players settle more we will get better.

Benteke was brilliant with his hold up play.

Gutted with the result, but very pleased with the display. Its was going to very difficult to hold out even with a 2 goal cushion. Man Utd are the masters at this but even with that this young Villa side went at them from start to finish. Benteke is fecking immense, no goals from him, but an outstanding CF display.

Credit to Man Utd but the Mexicans first two goals had massive dollops of luck with them. Two cracking goals from Villa and a very decent display, gutted we`ve ended up with feck all!

Have to say really enjoyed the performance, cracking atmosphere at the ground as well. Benteke was absolutely immense throughout. Still worried about Clark at centre back, Vlaar was excellent. A lot of positives from the performance , thought the manager fecked up making the last substitution when they had a free kick in a dangerous position

bullshit, Villa didn't fall apart at all, conceeded 3 goals to a very good team, seen it umpteen times before against Man Utd. Villa was excellent, most enjoyable game i've watched down VP in a long while.

We were excellent. Very proud of the lads effort.

It's just unfortunate it was against the bloody ManUre. We never learn!

Well done to Weimann, but Benteke was just immense. Did you see the way he made Chris Smalling look like a bitch?! We didn't give Rooney or RVP a sniff for 70 mins. Thought the whole team done brilliantly again.

Although we lost, I'm becoming very positive about our future, again. Ashley Young getting booed totally put him off his stride today, excellent stuff!

Still gutted about yesterday but must admit that's the most I've enjoyed a Villa game since Mcminge took over..

Our 4-3-3 system is great and Benteke we have the perfect man to play uptop.. Weimenn I've always rated out of the kids.. Think he will make the grade..

Westwood looks like he has a lot of potential and that must've been Ireland's best game for us.. Find a combative midfielder to play alongside Westwood/K EA and Ireland could thrive in that role.. Scholes didn't get a look in first half.

Never thought I'd say this but sell Bent and give PL the money to bring in a few more first teamers..

Also did anyone else think the ref was bit of a tosser even moaning at Guzan for time wasting when he didn't even have the ball in the 50th odd minute..

I thought Villa played well.

I certainly enjoyed the game for once despite the result. Thought the lads played fantastic, was excellent at Sunderland last week as well, hopefully we will continue like that and we will start winning games.

Enjoyed it, brought myself a ticket for the Arsenal game as well.

Obviously we lost, but we gave it a go yesterday, even after we let in the 3rd goal, we still continued to try and get another one back.

Shame our next game is City away.

We turned Citeh over b4 ....dont expect to do it again the only thing to hope for is a draw... ( plz let me be wrong and win )
