Great second half effort from Villa, a more positive approach in the first half would have got at least a draw.
When you're at home you have to set up like the home side. I think Lambert has lost his way, when you've been shit defensively why would you invite your opponents on to you? I thought you'd have a rough ride this season but would end up OK but now I've seen this I think you've picked another gonk as a manager and you've got it all to do.

Think we deserved a point. Never started 1st half and came at roaring in the 2nd. I think they gave it their all and we fell short (again). I'd rather they went out with a bit of a fight then a whimper and they did tonight.
I honestly think that is us now. In the bottom 3 and staying there.

Agreed - we looked much, much better when we went with 4 at the back.

Gabby and Wiemann gave us the edge when they come on - showed us passion.

Think Bent need to get the **** out of this club, so we can sign 1 or 2 reinforcements to save out season.

Bang on the money.. Again tactically naive at best.. 5 at the back with them having only one upfront and even then a simple thru ball for them to score.. lightweight in the middle with two players.. Banan should NEVER play for Villa again.. he is SHIT to put it politely..

Listened to the game on the radio and certainly seemed a game of two halves. Tonight he should have gone for it from the off, Weimann should be starting every bloody game, he looks a player. Sounded as if Gabby performed when he came on as well. We are not bad going forward so fecking do it. Lets hope Dunne and KEA will be back for Saturday, Delph as well to give a bit of competition. Bent dont seem to give a stuff, Bannan gets on my 36DD's. At least they showed a bit of fight in the second half, but this needs to be for 90 minutes. On the plus side, we didnt concede from a corner, so keep your chins up lads, there is still hope. There again, I still think there is hope of me pulling Kelly Brook

I believe that Lerner wants to be relegated so that we can get rid of overpaid players ,sign young, hungry players, and start over. But Lerner doesn't know what he is getting himself into, it will cost him 60 Million + and the Championship is a very tough league, maybe that's why Lerner sold the C.Browns, so when we get relegated he can pay off the debt and start over.
