Jak, I feel a bit sorry for Wilshere. He is being played out of position due to the form of others, not fully confident, so tough. He was poor first half for sure.

I agree with all you say, Luton. The long term injury seems to have taken it's toll on Wilshire, not only on his form but on the fact that replacements were signed who are doing a good job in the position he would have been expected to call his own. Bearing in mind that Cazorla is to return and Podolski, it's not going to be an easy ride for him. I suppose he'll have to wait for his chance in a more central position and then he'll have to make it his.

Agree Jack had a poor first half but he didn't stop trying to be involved and after his goal, which obviously gave him a boost, he was everywhere. I think he's doing OK, slowly but surely he's coming back - meanwhile his team-mates are doing an excellent job supporting him.
And yes, didn't the Hammers do well today - can't wait for MOTD2 - who saw that coming?

Wilshere is annoying me every time I see him. If he put as much energy into his football as he does his berating of the reg he'd have a centre mid spot sewn up. He needs to check his passport and realise he's not a poofy foreigner. Show some steel boy.

He is spending a lot of time on his arse, mainly because he isn't moving the ball quick enough. You can't blame the ref for that.
As he gets fitter he should get sharper.

He has an abundance of talent, that isn't in doubt. When you think of the top centre midfielders of the Prem era ie Keane, Scholes, Viera, Gerrard and Lampard the thing they have had is that alongside technical ability they have never been afraid of taking a whack. Maybe Wilshire has been believing his own press? At the moment he's getting too many bookings for acts of petulence. Doesn't matter who you are or what level you play at first and foremost you have to earn the right to compete.
