Mr Randy Lerner & MBNA

Does anybody know if RL is still anything to do with the Bank MBNA.

Reason i say this is allegedly they are in big trouble, the net is rife with the fact that rumour has it they are about to go tits up.......big time.

Just wondering if RL was anything to do with them may impact upon Villa somewhere down the line.

He sold his shares in them well before he took over at the Villa.

Yes but doesn't he have some kind of consultancy role or advisory role and investment capacity in the MBNA bank based on his family once totally owned it.

I got the impression there is still some kind of connection.


Well if he's completely clear of it there won't be a problem.

I think he might have some kind of honory role there or something like that, but I am pretty sure that he has no money in MBNA.

Don't think MBNA Bank have got any money either just hope it doesn't influence his attitude towards Villa and any Villa transfer kitty there might be.

Last time I read about RL's cash he was allegedly exposed to the sub-prime market......

Its a strange one this, some people say he is still part of MBNA and thus the problems and some say he now is completely seperate from it.

From what I read he was exposed to some risks, guess none of us will ever know the truth.
