Re: Randy Lerner
He has certainly done a great job for our club, with a lot of help from MON. Was getting a bit concerned that he may be losing interest, today has seemingly showed that is not the case.

Re: Randy Lerner
I don't question his feelings towards the club, but he is a business man, and with the debt the club has accumalated its only natural that he would try to balance the books, hopefully he can see that some re-investment is certainly needed at the moment though.

Good points made AVFC. I dont think anyone can question his committment to the club, lets hope he can spend a bit more cash though

Re: Randy Lerner
Lerner has been brilliant for the club. After being let down so badly by the previous manager just before the season started the next 12 months will be a true test of his character. Even if the money was available I doubt very much he will give so much money to a manager only to see a lot of it wasted. With a fraction of the support MON got we can be back up to 6th next season no problem. Sadly breaking into the top 5 now looks very difficult, we had our chances.

Perhaps he's just a slow Lerner.

RL sadly failed his test of character....in a big way. Perhaps we shouldn't under estimate how much money he lost during the financial crisis but that really isn't our problem. Right now I'm much more concerned about his appointments of those running the club. It's starting to look like he can't identify the right people, who will he saddle us with next?

Re: Randy Lerner
A year ago he's walking on water, and now you want him crucified. I wouldn't be bothered with a club who had fans like that either.
