Should premier league clubs be allowed B teams in the league?
Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas thinks English football should seriously consider following the Spanish model by allowing Premier League clubs to field "B" sides in the Football League - or even permitting the purchase of smaller rivals for use as feeder teams — to allow young prospects the best possible chance of fulfilling their talent.

No.There are 72 football league clubs and a fantastic non league structure as well as the Premiership. It's disrespectful to the clubs outside the top division. He's new to this country and he probably doesn't fully appreciate that the fans of the likes of Steveage and Hereford are every bit as passionate about their clubs as the fans of Chelsea are.I'd argue that it's easy to be a fan of the Sky 4 whereas it takes a lot more to travel hundreds of miles to an away game in a shitty old stadium than it is to roll up at Old Trafford etc.AVB needs to concentrate on keeping his job.

What QB said. Would completely devalue the football league. The reserve league is perfectly adequate.
