Most exciting season?
Has this been the most exciting season for a long time?
With 2 games to go we have:
- 2 teams that can still win the league
- 4 teams in which a chance of the 2 remaining champions league places
- 5 teams could still be relegated
Still a lot to play for

It's exciting, but the standard of the PL has dropped so much over the past seasons. These Arsenal, Newcastle, and Spurs teams wouldn't have touched the top 4 a few seasons back.

Obviously the Villa being utter shite hasn't helped but i'm totally disinterested with the Premiership. Hopefully City will win it, and Newcastle will get third just to change it a bit. However, i really couldn't give a fcuk

I suppose the standard dropped when Wet Spam got relegated.... Maybe it is because other teams have caught the so called big four....

Fact is ManU haven't been that good this season, yet they're still in with a shout. ManC have had some massive results but are still to convince (me) that week in, week out they're as good a team as past champions. They should be, of course, given the number of "top" players they've signed, all (or most) of whom have shone from time-to-time (OK, except Nasri).
What we've seen is different teams coming in and upsetting the expectations - the likes of Swansea and Norwich, Newcastle (despite all their apparent problems) and even Wigan have put in a shift or two of late. Tottingham flattered to deceive, Arsenal dropped off, came back, went again then recovered - we don't know whether they're coming or going right now, yet they still might finish third! Liverpool (League Cup winners) have sunk and will need drastic reconstruction if they are to hope of reclaiming a "Top Four" position in the Premier League - Chelsea (FA Cup winners) have improved of late but I'm not convinced they are a good team by the standards they set themselves a couple of years back (as they go on to win the Champions League - yeah, right).
Let's just say it's been a season of transition. Who knows, perhaps this time next year we'll be looking at Reading as champions with Liverpool being relegated - it could all happen folks, it's football, the game that we love!
