Probably the best referee I have ever seen - and I've seen him ref matches at the top level of English football as well as World Cup matches - the only ref I've had 100% respect for because, in his day he made sure that everyone knew he was in charge and not in an officious way either. He just didn't put up with bullshit and cheats, he let players know he was on to them - a great ref - RIP Jack Taylor.
