Great in attack, but defensively weak, if you ask me.

Is it the air in Luton that makes you so bitter.
Heir Beckenbauer said earlier in the tournament, he thought England where negative, he's saying now we look knackered, if it was any other German i may agree with you but Beckenbauer as always respected England in terms of our football, and he's only saying what must seem pretty obvious to most people.
Rooney, our No1 Starlet looks shot to sh1t, the guy couldn't hit a barn door, yet only a few months ago if he tripped up he would end up knocking the ball in the net some how, clearly the bloke is very tired. If we have any hope we need Rooney back, it may happen it may not, we got the result yesterday but IMO we struggled against a very poor side, actually as it turns out far worse than Algeria.
This is a huge game because of all the feelings that go with it and if we do beat Germany the likelihood is we play Argentina, yet more of the same, the only other war i can bring into this would be us playing Iraq or Afghanistan, can't think of anybody else we haven't pulverised, point is people will have these thing to say but i i think Beckenbauer statements are based on football not mind games.

Two points.
I don't live in Luton.
I'm not bitter.
And I still think Beckenbauer is playing mind games.

Putting Fact at the end of a sentence does not necessarily make it a fact..... FACT
and no you didn't...
and I am still holding my betting slip on North Korea coming good in the last game and going through.. They have a good goal difference so it ought to be easy..

I believe the records have been lost and there is much debate and confusion about what happened. But I believe two of the goals were scored by Helmut Haller and Wolfgang Weber... the rest I dont know

I think you mean KuckenHöhle
And with reference to your 1966 point, West Ham almost got us kicked out of the 2010 World Cup at the group stage!!!

Re: Beckenbauer
Der Kaiser has apologised for his criticism of the England team, saying that he's a huge fan of English football and that prior to the finals he'd expected England to be among the favourites to win it. He claims to have just been disappointed by England's performances which caused him to speak out, but he's sorry.
Two things to say about that :
1) If what he now says is true he sounds very much like any England fan (i.e. disappointed with England's performances);
2) If he's being PR about the whole thing I hope we jab it straight back down his throat on Sunday (but, as a disappointed football fan I reckon that's unlikely).
Actually I've a lot of respect for Der Kaiser. He was an excellent, class footballer and has managed to maintain a respectable image in the spotlight of European football after his playing days. Far prefer him to other ex-players, e.g. Platini!

Re: Beckenbauer
That Green needs a smack round the choppers. Instead of me having a good night watching us beating Ghana with friends round for a barby, he has made us all suffer the agony of playing the fceking Germans on a fceking Sunday afternoon, and if we beat those, is likely to be fceking the Argies next.
