It would be nice if you could beat The Spuds on such a night. I know it's a big ask but, given the history you've certainly seen out some good performances against such opposition over the years - be nice of you could do it for Bobby!

West Ham boss Sam Allardyce: "We've one man to thank for tonight's result and that's Gareth Bale. He's the difference between sides and his wonder goals are continuing. I can't say I've ever seen anyone score so many in such a short time. He's done it twice tonight.
I am not sure is Fat Sam has caught a case of the wengers tonight because I dont think you were on a similar level to the Spuds

Bale was the difference. He won't be with you next season.

I only watched the second half but the only Spurs player who did anything was Bale so you would have to say he was the difference.,

Take a peek at the stats.... your goalie was the only thing between you and a drubbing

I agree Jussi had a good game, but Bale was the biggest difference.

the spuds are a very average squad with probably the best player currently in the PL, making a massive difference. Feck the stats, just watch the game.

the spuds player that stamped on Nolans foot should have been red carded thats for sure...but over all bale was the major difference...as for him not being at spuds next season, No one can say whats going to happen.

Yes it was. He also gave the penalty away for the foul on Carroll. He's been a super player, now past his best. And Spurs would be foolish not to cash in on Bale while he's at the top of his game.
Taking a peek at the stats we could form the opinion that Jussi is an extraordinary keeper. He's not, but he had a blinding game. So stats only tell part of the story.

Only caught a bit of the game but did see the penalty. Thought Parker was a tad unlucky as he got a bit of the ball but credit Carroll for a clever touch which won the penalty which after seeing the replay i'd say Webb made the correct decision.

Don't care about Parker being unlucky these days, but agree that Webb made the right decision.

¨¨¨No it was dembele....he was fouled got pissed of because the ref waved on looked to his left saw Nolan and basically stamped on his foot, hence the reason why Nolan was taken offBedshammer wrote:QBVILLA wrote:Billy Bonds wrote:FrenchSpur wrote:Bedshammer wrote:Bale was the difference. Well if your player hadnt wrestled to the ground like the cheat he was it wouldnt have happened would it..... The amount of off play cheating by your lot was astounding..... Still you wouldnt expect much else from a fat sam team.... cheating and hoof ball
