West Ham United v Aston Villa
So,
This is one of the games of the season that many of us on this forum enjoy...........normally.
After our last two performances we need to bounce back with a win here.
Villa are not exactly on a roll as although they beat Newcastle 1-0 it was not a convincing spectacle.
Then there is us.
At the moment, our lot could not score in a brothel with 20 pound notes wrapped around their equipment.
As for our defence...... it has more holes than a collander.
All we can hope for is an improvement this week.

I think if we win then that's us safe but i'd take a draw if offered now to maintain that 5 point gap. It's shit or bust for the Hammers though

I like Dave Whelan, makes a nice change to have a proper British football man in charge rather than some foreign billionaire.Think they're fcuked though.Martinez has great football ideals but they haven't got the players to play that brand of football and be successful.

I think 3 more points will be enough for us, but as QB says, would be happy to take a draw on Saturday. Neither club should be where they are, but they are and have to get out of it. I would start NRC in the middle instead of Makoun for this game.

We've scored 32 goals since January, only failing to score in 5 games...

You have scored 32 goals since January? You have only scored 38 in total in the league all season.

Yeah cause goals scored in cup games definitely don't count towards the goal scoring ability of a team.

Not in the league they dont. Reminds me of a tale a few years back when we were playing a five a side game at work. This fat lad (not me) who was always banging on about how good he was declined to play as he had another game. Was boasting the next day that he had scored 3 goals, transpirs he was having a kick about against his young nephews

18 goals in 12 league games.
Anyway, don't think it's goals that have been your problem.
