Jack Wilshire Arrested

Another young English player with the world at his feet but a screw loose in his head.
Not the first time he's been in trouble.

Oh dear, what's he been arrested for?
He's still young - hopefully he'll mature and not turn into Joey Barton II.

It's in connection with the assault of a woman. He's been given police bail.
Of course it doesn't mean he's guilty of anything. Mud sticks though.

He is supposedly involved as a key witness (that's what his mouthpiece said, anyway).

I hope this does come to nothing but I have seen a bit of attitude with Wilshire. I hope he's not another flash boy like a few we've had to ship out before. A lot of these young English lads talk the talk before they've walked the walk.

Some of you may know that I work in Hitchin, where Wilshere still lives. I've been hearing stories about his general attitude for months now, and was told recently about an incident involving an assault on a girl at a petrol station that would have made it into the Sun if CCTV footage was available. I think he needs to straighten up & fly right.

By contrast, and I don't say this to denigrate Arsenal or to praise West Ham, Jack Collison lives in Bedfordshire and while he's recovering from his knee injury has been going to watch a friend play for Arlesey Athletic (a reserve team) and will happily chat to anyone who speaks to him. A really nice bloke, by all accounts.

I expect, guilty or not, he's gonna be read the riot act. I don't think Arsenal stand too much crap from big headed youngsters.
