Blues In Europe - SC Braga Away
It's that time again - time for the proper football.
Another European night for Blues and another opportunity for us to show the world what we're all about. People will be tuning in from accross the globe in anticipation of another storming display by the men from St. Andrews - on St. Andrews Day. An omen perhaps?
This will be tough though. In the first game between us Braga showed some clinical finishing, despite looking overawed by the fact that they were actually playing against Blues at St. Andrews - a night that they will never forget. They did well and each of their 3 shots on target screamed into the net. Hopefully tonight will be different.
Blues need a result here. A win is maybe a little too much to hope for but a draw is well within our means.

Really suprised Blues got any results at all in this competition. I think tonight though will see you get a damn good thrashing.

Re: Blues In Europe - SC Braga Away
Well it was just one of those nights, wasn't it?
Zigic missed a penalty and Braga should have been down to 10 men (but the ref bottled giving their player a second yellow) - all in the first fifteen minutes.
Then Braga go ahead through a flukey own goal. The initial shot wasn't even on target!
We didn't take our chances when we were on top and in the end we ran out of time.
Then, fecking Maribor go and throw away a 3 goal lead in the last 16 minutes to lose 3-4 to Brugge, meaning our destiny is out of our hands going into the final game.
Just one of those fecking nights.
