I'm beginning to feel it - we've got the (preliminary) fixtures, we're awaiting the newcomers "in" and the no-longer-needed "out".
Dare I make a suggestion (given that we've yet to find out who'll be playing where exactly) that The Arsenal will remain unbeaten 'til at least the New Year? Oh, go on then - I reckon The Arsenal will remain unbeaten until at least the New Year! There, I've said it and I'm proud!

I won't count our chickens but I think our end of season form was very encouraging, we won't be far off if we maintain that form throughout the season. Adding a couple of quality players and settling them in pre-season, should make a big difference.
I'm very hopeful for a much better season 2013/14.

So, I'm expecting some developments in these coming days, a new player or two confirmed (OK, we've got youngster Yaya Sanogo but that was a deal anticipated since the end of the season, hardly "news"). Next week the squad will be off on their oriental travels so it would be nice if the new recruits were involved - the sooner they get into the squad the better.

I'm hoping for Higuain plus a defensive midfielder, at least.

Are you not getting the keeper Caesar, decent move I reckon? Certainly need a strong defensive midfielder IMO, but you should be challenging for 4th again with your squad Very Happy

As it is, I agree but with a couple more players it could be a different Story.
