You should get it as it would seem nobody else wants it

Is it right that the centre piece of the Olympics, the jewel in the crown of the greatest show on earth, is handed over to a Championship football club? Isn't there something perverse about that?

Well I don't want it. Villa can have it for all I care, what with them being a mighty premiership club and all that.
Orient haven't bid for it, let's see what Hearn does now. He'll have to show his hand earlier than last time, and has lost all his bargaining power.
Frenchie, the police investigation into the phone tapping is still ongoing and some arrests have been made. Time will tell.

A little bit of food for thought:
This man

Resigned his position at Spurs on 17 January, the day before this happened:

Check out his previous job.

Cheers Beds, bit out of our area code though so we will stay in our lovely big historic stadium.

If they're going to play football in the stadium, then West Ham should be the team to play there.
Although football and Allerdyce are terms that have not gone well together.

Re: Olympic Stadium
While others spend their time speculating on our plans we are focusing only on the long-term prosperity of our great club and how we can take it to the next level for the benefit of our loyal fans. We will ensure that we make our vision a reality should we get the opportunity to do so.
Our aim is to sell out a 60,000 stadium and we have a plan to do it. Other people's five favourite words might be 'What's in it for me', while West Ham United's are 'What's in it for us.'
We want a world-class stadium fit for football, not the stadium that is there today, but one that will be first-class for football in 2014.
To have no vision is to have no dream. We have the vision and we'll realise the dream.
Club statement.

Whether you're pro/anti the Olympic Stadium move, the Davids really do have a genuine ambition to change the fortunes of the club. Very very refreshing after years of mismanagement.

The Porn Peddlers have given this season their big shot. If you miss out on promotion, which I hope you don't, I think the future will be bleak for the Hammers.

We've dropped 14 points, not 27. And we're 10 points clear of Cardiff in 7th with a game in hand so it would take something very very awful for us not to finish top 6. Like I said earlier, it's been a disappointing run of form but nothing disasterous. Stop overreacted to a bad patch in which we've remained unbeaten. A point is better than nothing.

Well, Beds they've aimed a great deal of money at gaining promotion. You're gonna be mighty stretched if you miss out.
I hope we don't find that out and that the Hammers do go up but if you fail it'll give me no pleasure for you to see that what I've said is not nonsense.

Sam's been given 2 years to get us back up, and i don't mean any disrespect but I don't think you know enough about the club's situation to be able to say our future looks bleak. There are plenty of clubs in a worse situation than us. As for the Porn Peddlars as you call them, there are many worse owners in the football league.

It's common knowledge that they've staked a lot on gaining promotion. There was even a BBC article recently saying that they've committed bundles to the cause.
Sure plenty of clubs are in a worse situation but things can turn quickly for any club, if a gamble fails.
As for worse owners, I really don't think you'd be saying that if they owned any other club.
A slime bag owns a chunk of The Arsenal, I'll admit it and I don't like it.
Are there degrees of scumbags? I didn't think so but I wouldn't be happy if my club was owned by 1st, 2nd,or 3rd degree eels.

Venkys
Ken Bates
Carson Yeung
That nutter that owns Hearts
The last Portsmouth owner
Tony Fernandes
Craig White (Rangers)
The Icelandic chuffs
are all worse, in my opinion.
And you've definitely got an eel at Arsenal, by the way.
