Houlliers problem was that he fcuked up big time with the Liverpool debacle and the Man City game..

I'd have Houllier over Mcminge any day.

Houls could've made it back from his PR disasters and I think we'd be a better team than we are now if he hadn't been taken ill but the reality is he couldn't carry on. The search for the next manager was much more damaging in terms of pr than anything GH said and still concerns me that we haven't got the right people running the show for RL.
Right now though I would rather see us get some team spirit going, finish well and keep AM on for next season. I think appointing a new manager will be more destructive than constructive, we need some stability but the closer we get to 15th the harder it will be keep him on, the noise from the fans will be huge and it would surely be a failure in anyones book to finish that low

He had a stronger squad than we have now and we weren't safe until we won at Arsenal late April/early May.Anyway he's gone now, thank feck and Mcleish has the job for the forseeable future.We may as well back the fella.We're getting fcuked over this Sunday anyway
